I've put together a video of my day trip to London, I haven't been there for years and I got to ride the London underground for the first time ever, it was so confusing at first LOL

I managed to meet up with some friends who I've known for years but have never actually met each other, so it was really nice to meet up with them even for 15 minutes before I had to leave.

Oh, I tried bubble tea, it's so over rated! It's basically just slushie with tapioca.
Here's a few photos from London...

DIY ★ Cat face shoes; Inspired by Charlotte Olympia

Black shoes, needle, thread, colouring pencil, super glue, black fabric for ears

Bought a pair of stripy espadrilles but didn't like it too much, so why not turn it into a pair of kitty shoes hehe

Have a nice day :)

I saw a pretty model in Vogue and I wanted to draw her... except that the drawing doesn't exactly look like the model haha! But hey, it's my first attempt of drawing a realistic human face!

hat from ebay // dress and tights from romwe // shoes from wholesale-dress

This is my favourite outfit at the moment, I'm so gonna wear this for the next party I go to! If I was to wear this to go shopping down town with my friends, I would feel a bit over-dressed haha.
I am in love with bold prints and patterns at the moment, but it's so hard to find ones that looks nice on garments!!

Burberry Prorsum A/W12 , Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 , Elizabeth and James Fall 2012

Peplum is a short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress. No matter how you wear it, it will always allow you to send out a classy vibe. As you can see, peplum has been making it's way into the autumn/winter fashion trend of 2012/13 through the collection from Burberry, Mary Katrantzou, Elizabeth and James, Dior and many more.

Personally I am not crazy about the whole peplum trend yet, I do love how they look really feminine by cinching in at the waist but I'm not ready for the peplum dresses. I don't have any suitable occasions for me to wear a full on peplum dress, they just remind me of a mature mid-age office lady, I'll just need some time to change that thought.

For now, I'll just stick with peplum tops which can be dressed up for parties and dressed down for a casual yet still sophisticated look. So below are some of my picks from the peplum trend...

Order from left to right:

I love the mesh detail to the cute collar with the bird print, the pretty coral colour of the bouble peplum top to the simple peplum top that can never go wrong. And the bralet and blazer have got to be my favourites!!

Let me know what you think of the peplum trend, take care! :)

DIY ★ Pyramid Studs Double Ring

I really do love studs and spikes haha, and I just happened to have some studs and ring bases lying around. I've been seeing a lot of studs and spikes accessories so why not make my own ring.
As always, you can visit the video version of this tutorial here.

Be sure to try it out and let me know how you get on, have fun! :)
