top and leggings from romwe // jacket from urban outfitters // platform boots from storenvy
How freaking cool/weird is this snow white and the seven cats top?! I knew I had to have it so now it is in my possession mwahaha. Definitely a statement piece and eye-catching top as well as it being a conversation starter! I like how it's a baggy top so that I can wear it with a pair of leggings and my bottoms are covered ha.
I've been really enjoying writing blog posts lately, it's sort of relaxing and it feels great to let my voice out. At the moment I'm going through this phase of jealousy. I hate to admit it. I've always thought of myself as a bigger person, and my friends think so too, but at times I just can't help but envy of what others have achieve and especially when they have a clear goal of what they want to become. Maybe I'll find myself a direction sometime soon, maybe.
The prom season is fast approaching and oh my, it has been nearly two whole years since I have had my prom! I still remember frantically searching for the perfect dress and suitable accessories to go with it. Unlike America, us Brits only have one prom at the end of our senior school, so we had to make the most out of it!
To help you girls out a little, I have picked out a few prom dresses from dressv.com that would be lovely for your big night!
These two are the classic elegant dresses that I've picked out, I think pink and white are such gentle colours that instantly makes anyone look ladylike! I especially love the addition of the trail of roses on the pink dress as well as the golden satin ribbon bow on the right that adds a little something to the dresses.
There is something about those two dresses above that is old-fashion-like. I love the high neck of the black dress as it reminds me of the traditional neck collar of the Chinese clothing - qipao. This black dress is fully lined with a built in bra so it's very comfy to wear for the long night ahead! It is finished off with some beautiful floral embroidery on sheer fabric as well as beading embellishments. On the other hand, the blue dress on the right is more plain compared to the black one as it doesn't have any embellishments at all. However, the nature of the satin emits a slight sheen which is enough already. The full ruffles of the dress reminds me of the rockabilly era which I really like.
This final one caught my eyes when I was browsing through their dress gallery, it looks very luxurious and unique, and the colour of the dress - consists of greens, emeralds, blues definitely reminds me of a mermaid's tail! The dress has a boat neckline but the sweetheart neckline created by the thousands of sequences is also clearly visible as there is mesh material on the upper chest area. I think anyone would look absolutely amazing in this dress and I would love to capture the moment when they twirl in this!
Lastly, I'll leave you with a little tip: If you're buying your dress online, make sure you double check that you have all the correct measurements before purchasing it!

It is current the Easter holiday but I have literally been spending every single day revising, this outfit post was actually taken outside my local library after they asked me to leave because it's closing time haha! I have finally decided which university to go to, although it's three hours away from home, but I'm sure I can cope with it alright... well, that is if I get reached the requirement grades which is AAB with an A in mathematics. Southampton university offered me A*AA but shame they don't do the specific joint honour course that I desired.
I looked like a complete tourist who is a professional at the same time in that tweed-like blazer and my pork pie hat! I absolutely adore this blazer because the pattern is so British and it has a lovely silhouette with the cinched in waist. I can't wait for a job interview in the future to wear this and be professional whilst looking fashionable at the same time!
I love old building so this is the Guildhall of my city and oh my gosh, if I get into the university of my choice, I will have so so so much lovely places to take photos at because there are old structures everywhere! I simply cannot conceal my excitement!
Not going to lie, other than hats I also have an unhealthy obsession with Oxford shoes! I rarely wear flats but when I do, they tend to be no other than Oxford shoes. I adore the different forms and colours they come in and the classic lace up flats emits a very professional vibe. When I go to an interview in the future, I will no doubt be slipping into my Oxford shoes!
Above is my picks of Oxford shoes from Dressale, they are all lace up except for no.1 which has a silver metal buckle instead. I have also included pastel coloured ones (no.2 and no.6) which are in such adorable colours and perfect for the spring, as is no.4 with the vintage floral pattern. No.3 is a lovely pair with a colour block for contrast, but my favourite pair has to be no.5 because of the cut-outs on the side, I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of those for this upcoming summer!
